Saint Patrick's Day, Soccer, and Photo Shoot

We walked in the Children's Parade on Saint Patrick's Day. This was just a couple of days after we got Bear Bear, so we wanted to take him. He did great! They had a pet parade before the children's parade, but low and behold, we were late and missed it.

Such a calm pup!
These two won't be pinched by any leprechauns!

Getting ready for the parade!

I wish this picture was taken from the other side so you could see how Bear Bear is laying his head in Lexi's lap. So Sweet!
Gavin's soccer season is coming to an end. He had 2 games on Saturday, and scored 3 goals in each of them! If he stays focused, which we have to remind him to do, he really does great. After one goal he scored, he ran up to Greg and said, "Dad, I did the trick you taught me! I got in front of the black guy (jersey color), and used my body to block him so he couldn't take the ball from me!" And guess what? I caught it with my awesome new camera :-)

It's times like this when being able to take like 4 shots a second, or something crazy like that, comes in handy! I have a bazillion more pictures from his games, but I will spare you my pride in my son's soccer skills, and in my amazing photography skills :-)

Speaking of my amazing photography skills, (hehe) we decided to have a little photo shoot after church this morning since the weather was beautiful and kids were dressed up and looking all cute.

I am going to be ordering some prints of some of these, so all you Grandmas, Grandpas, and Aunties...let me know if you want any!

Goodbye Hank

I am writing this to say goodbye to Hank, Hanky, Hankers, Hank the Tank; our first baby, our childrens' first best friend. He went to Doggie Heaven today. Hank was only 6, but he had lymphosarcoma. He was diagnosed about 4 months ago. He was doing pretty good on his medication until recently. He stopped eating again, and developed sores on his legs that got infected, and left it hard for him to get around. I know he was uncomfortable, and that he is in a better place now. We will miss you terribly Hank!

Goodbye Hank. We love you. Thank you for being such a good dog.
